Anti-acne
Acne, commonly known as pimples, is a multi-factorial inflammatory disease. Skin cells, sebum and hair can clump together into a plug, which in turn gets infected with bacteria, resulting in swelling or inflammation. Several causes, including stress and pollution lead to the formation of acne.
Anti-acne actives provide a multi-prolonged approach by targeting different mechanisms like inhibition of P. acnes, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity.
Monolaurin
A glycerol ester of lauric acid, possessing broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against P acnes. In-house studies have indicated that Monolaurin has a MIC of 40 µg/ml (i.e. 0.004%) as such against P. acnes.

Coleus Oil
A patented and standardized skin nutrient, obtained from the fresh roots of Coleus forskohlii. Coleus oil has been found to be better than Tea tree oil in its antimicrobial potential.

Vitex Oil
Obtained from the berries of Vitex agnus-castus and standardized for 0.40% of Artemetin, it helps control acne. Vitex oil inhibits P. acnes more effectively than Clindamycin.

Policosanol
A mixture of fatty alcohols, derived from waxy extract of sugarcane, contains a minimum of 60% Octacosanol. Clinically found to decrease the sebum secretion in a concentration dependent manner.
